Q: Several of the early pages use the Garamond font. Why is this? Is it a holdover from the original format (white on black, etc.)? Should we standardize this across the wiki, and if so is there an easy way to do so?
A:
I'm the one to blame. I don't like Arial as a font and deciding between Garamond vs. Times was hard.
If there is a way to standardize it that will be great. -Günperi
A: Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds! Actually, I agree that this should be standardized, though I think the only way to do this is to go through page by page. I think Garamond is a bit hard to read. Helvetica seems quite popular among some font people, but clearly there are dissenting opinions.

Q: How are footnotes added with the EasyEdit software?
A: It does not appear that Wetpaint will allow you to make footnotes. See discussion here.

A: It seems that if you first make a page in Microsoft Word with footnotes, you can just copy and paste the whole thing in. Wetpaint keeps the footnotes intact.

Q: What format are we following concerning citation?
A: We don't seem to have settled on one yet. Ideas?
-I'm in favor of Turabian if everyone agrees. - Günperi

Q: What kind of html can we add to the pages?
A: None. Wetpaint paint is strictly WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)

Rather than actually work on my essay I thought I'd waste time online instead. I am wondering what people think about creating a page for people to upload their essays to. Obviously I don't think this should be a requirement, but some people might want to. I think it would be a valuable thing to do, both to improve this wiki as a general reference and also to inform our class discussions. Any thoughts?

I've been messing with the picture on the Realism page and I can't get it to play nice with the text. Hovering the mouse cursor over the photo should allow you to click through to the source page but it's only working for the upper-left part of the picture, not the bottom. Anyone know why? Or does this only happen for me. Could someone tell me what it looks like in a browser other than Firefox?
