look and feel

So apparently I have the ability to change the overall look and feel of the wiki; it's a setting in my toolbar. Not sure if it shows up in anyone else's toolbar (for me it's a link called "Settings" at the extreme right-hand side of the toolbar at the top of the page -- right next to "My Profile" and "Promote").

I am not particularly attached to either this color-scheme or the previous one. That said,if I am the only one with the power to make changes like this, then we ought to collectively decide on a scheme somehow. Otherwise I might just act like a complete and undivided sovereign and make a decision for all of our benefit on my own.
Do you find this valuable?

I like it better this way. I see no settings though. Do you find this valuable?

I personally prefer the black, but I am getting into this whole Gaiman / Mirror mask-esk thing a bit too much for normal people. Is there anything that is still readable to the general public but a more catchy color? Something with blue? Do you find this valuable?

Well because I love the internet I decided to go dig up some data on what might theoretically work best. Unfortunately the studies I found didn't suggest one perfect color combination. They're still interesting to see, though maybe a bit dated. I'd be interested to see if we could dull the background a bit, so its not so bright.

We can even see what this site would look like to someone who is colorblind:

PTJ, do you have the power to change the header/sidebar fonts? I can't seem to do that, but I unilaterally changed everything else to Times for the sake of standardization. Do you find this valuable?
